The language in the play Macbeth has a large effect on the tension created because Shakespeare has use different techniques such as similes, metaphors and personification. This has not only created tension but has also hook the reader
because it makes it sound more interesting. Shakespeare has succesfully used great language techniques in the line “Words to the heat of deeds too cold breath gives, ” is talking about the murder is wearing away his courage to follow through and the techniques being used are paradox ( or oxymoron ) and a hyperbole. another quote from Macbeth would be “With Tarquin’s ravishing strides, towards his design Moves like a ghost,” which means he wants to move like Tarquin, as quiet as a ghost and that is also a similie (Tarquin was a Roman prince who sneaked into a Roman wife’s bedroom in the middle of the night and raped her).

Your second paragraph is much more like it.
Try to avoid the use of phrases such as ‘makes it interesting’ and ‘has a great effect’ – imagine you are the audience (or reader) – how might they react?
